Dr. Katie E. Golden, is a medical editor with GoodRx and a board-certified emergency medicine doctor who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. She retired from clinical medicine to pursue a full-time medical writing career.
She has a particular interest in increasing health care transparency for patients, redefining the patient-doctor relationship, and educating patients about their health. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and she completed her residency training at Harvard Medical School.
