I must have one-I can't walk at all . . . . it gets me around the house. I want to use it to go to doctor's appointments and get around instead of wheelchair which requires someone to push me in it. I don't have name and model but there is Go Go Scooter, Quickie Plus, and more. Maybe you can try it by renting one and see how you like it.

Oh no Paula! See if your insurance will cover it? Try to hurry and file the claim so you get it reported in a timely manner in case they will cover it . . or also try HIS insurance. . . or ask the guy to replace or repair it. I mean that is only fair you need your scooter and he did it. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose but it still has to be fixed . . .

Hello Gerard!!!! YES!! I have an electric scooter Bought it 3/7/ 2014 & LOVE it!!!! It's a Go-Go Sport, 4 wheeled,,, 4 wheels!!! gotta have 4 wheels,,, I dumped a 3 wheeler turning to short; to quick to avoid a cat & they are NOT safe. It comes apart so my son loads it in my trunk & I'm gone!!
5 miles an hour,, so I'm not running anyone over at Disneyland. I have a very small charger to take there with me & just plug it in during lunch. 8" tires at least for going on gravel,,, as for the beach,,,, I'm not that brave. I have a basket that my teeny chihuahua LOVES to ride in & my Yorkie Terriost sits between my feet. This was the best $1500.00 I've spent. Wheelchairs????? Not so much!!! Not as compact or easy to mount on a carrier on the back of my Honda Pilot!!!!!
AND,,, go into a restaurant,, pull up to a table, the seat swivels to sit At the a table,,, not like a wheelchair.

I have a 4 wheel Jazzy and it works very good for me. It takes 2 batteries that seem to last for a long time.
