After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2017, I’ve worked hard to understand what helps me manage the condition most effectively. I would never claim to have it all figured out — it’s still very much a work in progress. One strategy that helps significantly is understanding that it’s OK to take a day off to work on life-stress balance. It’s easier said than done, but it’s a constant goal of mine.
